Was it all just a rumor?

When asked if King was going to write an episode of The Walking Dead or if it was just a rumor the moderator gave this answer:

Just a rumor.

Is this because Frank Darabont is no longer involved? Was it always a rumor? What happened to the collaboration between King and his son Joe Hill that was mentioned earlier? Your guess is as good as mine...

The special edition has, in addition to everything that’s on the regular edition, some extra bonus material but it also have the pilot in black and white (review of that is coming as well).

The Walking Dead press kit

Click for a larger imageNot much has been said about the press kit for season 2 of The Walking Dead and I’ll admit it’s not as nice as the one for season 1 (but then again, when is a press kit that nice? Well, not very often). Still, this one is quite interesting and contains a lot of stuff about the show, and most important; the two first episodes of season2. I have a copy on its way to me as we speak (together with a copy of the special edition DVD of season 1 (released on October 4th) and I’ll let you know more about both once I have them in my hand. Until then, enjoy these photos.

Two interesting books...

I got some really nice items in the mail today that I want to show you. The first one is a copy of Stephen King is Richard Bachman by Michael Collings. Published by Overlook Connection Press. It’s a very nice book about King writing as Bachman and it also have a lot of covers of Bachman’s books from all over the world.

If you want a copy you can get either from Overlook Connectoin or Amazon

The other thing was the huge Dark Tower omnibus. And it’s no joke that it’s huge. And the first thing I noticed when I opened the box it was in is how beautiful it is. It’s a really beautiful book and I can’t wait to check it out. It’ll give me a chance to catch up with this comic.

If you want your own copy of it for your collection you can get it here
