In the second episode we see Jerome coming home from school, somewhat troubled and seeming to have lower grades that is expected by his father. But Jerome fixes this by altering them. Not with a happy face though. The big thing though in this episode is that Brady is regaining his consciousness. This is because doctor Babineau is giving him an even stronger drug. He still isn’t able to move though so what he does is somehow take over the bodies of others. The first one he does this to is his nurse, Sadie. While in control he can steer her body, and talk through her mouth. To visualize this they have placed Brady in his basement with a number of screens that shows what Sadie sees.

It's a bold move that they take. It follows the events in End of Watch so I don’t mean that they are altering the story too much but by moving into this straight from the first season and skipping Finders Keepers (that built up to this moment) we end up in the supernatural so much faster and some viewers that thought the show was supposed to be a crime show with limited supernatural involvement might be turned away. I hope though that they are giving it a chance because I think it works great. It will be a challenge to go through the entire season like that but hopefully they can make it work.



We also see Jerome’s little sister Barbara who (at least in the books) will play a somewhat big part in the upcoming events. I’m also looking forward to seeing more of Holly. So far, she’s been taking a backseat but I’m sure that will change.

I like Jack Huston who plays Felix Babineau. He is a great actor and here he works perfect!
