I just got an email from Mark Pavia who told me that the script for the anthology film he's been writing, The Reaper's Image has been completed, and that King is reading/reviewing it as we speak. Great news if you ask me.
I just spoke to Mark Pavia who told me about the upcoming anthology titled Stephen King's THE REAPER'S IMAGE that he's writing the script for. He told me that he's now on the last script and it's going well. Or as he put it: "It's awesome, all of it. So damn scary..."
Mark Pavia has confirmed that his new King project is called Stephen King’s The Reaper’s Image and for those of you that don’t know, it’s a anthology film that will include adaptations of the following stories:
Mark Pavia (Night Flier) is doing a Stephen King anthology film.
“It’s a Stephen King anthology film (as yet untitled)”, Pavia explains. “One that consists of only horror stories and one that is incredibly dark and endlessly atmospheric. I want to make a film that represents exactly what you think of when you hear the name “Stephen King” — a celebration of the man and what he does best, which is scaring the living hell out of all of us! But also stories that are rich in character and that have an emotional weight to them, which, of course, is what he’s all about. That’s what sets him apart from everyone else. It will be the first Stephen King anthology film in 25 years.”
