This is something you need to check out. Cemetery Dance has put the history of how the cover to their edition of Full Dark, No Stars was created on their site along with pictures of many early cover versions. I once did a smaller version of this about the cover for Under the Dome (see that here) and CD's report is very interesting and definitely something you don't want to miss! Check it out here.

Today I got a copy of the paperback edition of Full Dark, No Stars with Under the Weather. The new story is last and is 16 pages long (page 371-386). Look for a review soon...

If you look close on the paperback cover for Full Dark, No Stars you will notice this "Includes the new story Under the Weather". I contacted the UK publisher Hodder & Stoughton and they confirmed that this story will be in the UK paperback edition as well and that it is a new short story and not just an excerpt from the upcoming 11/22/63.

Its contest time again here at Lilja’s Library. This time it’s 5 copies of the US edition of Full Dark, No Stars that’s up for grabs. However, the contest will be a bit different this time…

For the next 5 days (Monday Nov. 28 – December 3rd) I will post a link here at the top of the site. The link will be named Contest Monday (the name of the day will change for each day) and when you see this link, all you need to do is click on it and send me that email that opens. You can add a comment if you like but that is not a must. Sounds too easy? Well, it is. There are two more things:

1) The link may appear any time between midnight and midnight the day after and will only be on the site for a short time, somewhere between 2 and 4 hours.

2) You will have to be the 10th person that sends me an email that day. I will count them in the order I receive them. The 10th mailer each day will be the winner.

Simon & Schuster has announced the narrators for the audio edition of Full Dark, No Stars. They are Craig Wasson (who was the narrator of Blockade Billy) and Jessica Hecht.

Recording will begin next week and the CD and download version will be on sale simultaneously with the print edition in November.

Remember though that this is manuscript pages and the page length in the finished book will not be the same but the relative size will remain the same.

Today it was announced that King's next book will be a collection of 4 previously unpublished novellas. The title is Full Dark, No Stars. Here is what's posted on King's board:

I have been given permission to announce that Steve's next book titled FULL DARK, NO STARS, is a collection of 4 previously unpublished novellas and is expected to be released in November (possibly 9th, but that is subject to change). We will announce more details as they become available.
